We are excited to announce that MGMC is transitioning to a new Electronic Medical Record (“EMR”): MYLE EMR by Medfar Clinical Solutions. Our new EMR and patient portal will be launching March 20, 2025.
With MYLE, registered patients will now have access to online appointment booking and same day emergency appointments in addition to some new features; you will be able to receive messages from us, upload documents, receive documents and view some of your health records. We anticipate this will be a fantastic upgrade and improve our communication with you.
Our EMR is integral to providing care, so we request your patience as we all adapt to this new platform. Our EMR launch team is working hard to minimize disruption and we are confident that MYLE will enhance your experience at Marine Gateway Medical Clinic. We ask for your patience and remind you to remain courteous in your interactions with our admin staff during this transition.

MGMC Welcomes Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Linda Leung
NP Linda Leung is the newest primary care provider at Marine Gateway Medical Clinic to start January 2025. Linda Leung has been practicing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in acute and community care since 2013. Her clinical expertise includes internal medicine, geriatrics, and cardiology. She sees primary care patients over the age of 14.

Dr. Dewan is the newest family physician at Marine Gateway Medical Clinic to start September 2024. With a keen interest in comprehensive family practice, Dr. Dewan also specializes in dermatology and minor procedures. Known for strong communication and leadership skills, Dr. Dewan is an avid learner who values the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of healthcare. Special interests include dermatology, men’s health, minor procedures, and medical education. Dr. Dewan looks forward to contributing to the clinic and collaborating with the team.

It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of Dr. Kathy Kelly's practice on June 30th, 2024. Dr. Kelly has been a dedicated healthcare provider, and her decision comes with deep consideration for each patient's well-being.

All patient records will be securely stored and transferred to MedRecords, ensuring a seamless transition for those seeking continued care with new healthcare providers. Patients are strongly encouraged to transfer their records to their new provider. There is a fee for transferring records. The fee is lowest when records are directly transferred from one healthcare provider to the next. As MedRecords will securely hold the records for 16 years or 16 years after the date of majority for minors, patients can wait until a new healthcare provider is found before requesting record transfer. Patients can also request for themselves a personal copy of their records. There is a higher fee for this service.

To initiate the record transfer process, patients can visit medrecords.ca and complete the request form. Alternatively, they can contact MedRecords directly at 604-800-7079 for assistance. Cooperation during this transition period is greatly appreciated.

Please note Dr. Satnam Cubra is no longer with or affiliated with Marine Gateway Medical Clinic. Dr. Satnam Cubra's Family Practice is closed effectively as of March 31 2023. All patient records are securely stored and transferred to MedRecords. It is strongly advised that patients either transfer their records to their new healthcare provider or retain a personal copy.
